Why bin it, when you can refill it?
After months of careful planning and testing, we’re thrilled to introduce our new soy wax candle refills! From the very start of our business, we’ve chosen our candle jars with sustainability in mind and we’re so happy to finally bring it to life.
We are committed to reducing waste and promoting sustainability, which is why you can now keep your beautiful Pure Glo candle jars and lids, simply clean them out, and refill with fresh, new wax! No fussing around with dropping off your candle jars to refill we can simply ship them to you or use our click and collect service.
Our candle wax refills have been designed to fit the exact measurements of a Pure Glo large candle jar. Do not use any other vessel.
Before refilling, inspect your glass jar for any cracks, lines or marks. Do not refill a glass jar that appears to be damaged or has been dropped.

CANDLE REFILL INSTRUCTIONS
- Melt the Wax
- Remove the Wax
- Remove the Wick Tab
- Clean the Jar
- Prepare the New Wax Refill
- Place the New Wax Refill
When your candle has cooled, fill the candle jar with boiling water (about halfway) and allow to cool. You can stir the water gently with a skewer to help loosen the wax.
Once the water has cooled, the wax will float to the surface & harden. Carefully lift it out and dispose of it in a waste bin (or save it for use in a wax melt burner). Pour out the cooled water from the jar. Repeat from step 1 if wax remains.
Use a spatula or butter knife to gently pry out the metal wick tab from the base of the jar. If it is still attached, soak the jar in boiling water, this will help melt the glue from the wick tab.
Wash the jar with warm, soapy water, then rinse it to remove any remaining wax residue. Dry with a clean paper towel, ensuring it is thoroughly dry before moving to the next step. This will help the wick adhere to the base.
Remove the new Pure Glo candle wax refill from its packaging. Peel off the white sticky tab from the base of the refill.
Place the wax refill into your clean jar and gently press it down to ensure the sticky tab is securely attached to the base of the jar.

We currently ship within Australia.
We would like to ship overseas but each candle is almost 1kg once fully packaged and the costs of overseas shipping become prohibitive.
We ship anywhere within Australia for a flat rate of $9.90.
Unfortunately, our Click and Collect service is currently unavailable. We are looking into an alternative and will enable it again when we can.

We aim to package your product so that it is protected during transit, however, we ask that you inspect your order upon its arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. Any claim for faulty, damaged or incorrect items must be received within 21 days of delivery.
Faulty/damaged items
If any of our items arrive damaged, we ask that you send an email to info@pureglo.com.au quoting your order number plus photographic proof of the damage. We will assess the claim and offer either a replacement or a credit/refund.
Incorrect items
If you have received an incorrect item, please email info@pureglo.com.au quoting your order number and include a photo of the incorrect item. We will contact you to arrange return of the item (at our expense) and organise for the correct item to be delivered.
We are confident that you will love your new candle but we understand that sometimes you may feel that your chosen fragrance is not quite right for you. You are welcome to exchange your candle within 7 days of receipt. Please email info@pureglo.com.au to arrange the exchange. The item must be unused in brand new condition and in the original packaging. Please note that that you will be responsible for paying all shipping costs for returning the item. Also note that the exchange will not be accepted if the product is damaged due to the customer not taking appropriate care in packaging when returning the product.
